Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully. They explain the rules for using NV, the rights you have, and the things we ask you not to do.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account or using NV Messenger (“NV”) you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Who can use NV
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country, whichever is higher) to use NV. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your phone, SIM and device passcode secure. You agree to provide a real phone number you control and to keep your account information up to date. You may not transfer your account to anyone else or share your access credentials.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the messages, photos, videos, voice notes and other content you share through NV. By sharing content you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transmit and display it solely for the purpose of operating the service for you and the people you send it to.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use NV to: • Send content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory or invasive of privacy. • Distribute sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate images or any other content prohibited by law. • Spam, scam, phish, impersonate others, scrape or interfere with the service. • Distribute malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to NV systems or other users’ accounts. • Infringe intellectual property rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Reporting and moderation
You can report abusive users or content directly inside NV. We review reports and may warn, suspend or permanently disable accounts that break these Terms or our community guidelines. You can also block any user from contacting you.
7. Calls, location and other features
Some features require access to device sensors or data — for example camera and microphone for video calls, location for Nearby and live location sharing, contacts for finding friends. We only access these with your explicit permission, and you can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings.
8. Service changes
We may add, change or remove features from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect how you use the service.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Security → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access to NV at any time if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the safety of our users.
10. Disclaimer
NV is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NV and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the service.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where NV is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes inside the app or by other reasonable means before they take effect. Your continued use of NV after the changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
